there could be no better start into 2006 than a brand new steve bug single. with >smackman< on the a-side poker flat label boss steve bug delivers another hip shaking track handwritten in his unmistakeable but fresh style. >i-thought< on the -side starts with a clever beat-construction and a great bassline before some smart sound-gimmicks lead over to the first break. still minimal, but with an incredible groove and great melodies both tracks are sure to leave lots of nice damage on the dancefloor

the original version of this is euphoric techno with classic detroit strings and a nagging spoken vocal, but mike mondays remixes are pure hands in the air peaktime techhouse. the playtime boss provides two stellar reworks: a sublime, string-drenched acid builder complete with vintage piano breakdown, and a piano-less dub for those darker, heads-down moments. drop the sans piano remix at the right time, and carnage will most definitely ensue
